Let's start at the heart of Burscough - the town centre. The centre, which is still commonly referred to as 'The Village', has recently been regenerated with new paving, lamposts and architectural pieces. Yet the village retains much of its original character as the buildings have remained unchanged over the years.

Below are just a few of the new additions you can see in the village centre.

At the far end of the village we come to one of our two train stations. Burscough Bridge Train Station connects Burscough to Southport, Wigan and Manchester and a new bus link has been added by the station to connect train commuters to local bus routes including a regular link to Ormskirk. This is known as 'Burscough Exchange'. Burscough Bridge used to be linked to our other train station, Burscough Junction, by the Burscough curves. However, this link has now closed. Burscough Junction offers routes to Preston and Liverpool, via Ormskirk.
