20th October 08 - Promise Night

Tonight four Brownies made their promise so we did activities to prepare for the Promise ceremony. The four Brownies made promise flowers, and the other Brownies decorated a Promise candle and learnt more about the promise.

13th October 08 - Games Night

Tonight we played with the Reidels that we made last week. We also played other games and made emblems for our Sixes.

6th October 08 - Jewish Night

Tonight we learnt about the Jewish celebration of Rosh Hashanah - the Jewish New Year. We ate a special Jewish honey cake and made a Reidel - a game played by Jews.

29th September 08 - Senses & Disability Night

Tonight we tried out all our senses! We had to guess what foods were which just by taste or by smell and we also tried making a buttie blindfolded! To try and imagine what it would be like to have a disability we peeled carrots with one hand & painted pictures with our feet!

22nd September 08 - Mexico Night

We learnt all about Mexico at our Mexican night. We played with pinatas, made God's Eyes (a traditional Mexican craft, had tortilla chips and salsa dips and learnt about Our Cabana, the Guide Centre in Mexico. See pictures from our Mexico night here.
